Bandwagon Fans

Alright so if you follow me on twitter you know I am a HUGE Texas Rangers fan. My world pretty much revolves around the Rangers. And me being a fan DID NOT start the 2010 season when they made it to the playoffs and World Series, I was a huge fan way way waaaaaaayyyy before that. I'm talkin like before I could crawl. How do I know that?? My dad said when I was little, I was the loudest baby ever! But when he would sit me down on the couch with him and turn on the Ranger game, I made no noise. Didn't move or anything, until that game was over or he turned off the TV. So duh!!! I have been a fan like all my life!! Now I didn't write this just to tell yall how big of a fan I am of the Rangers, I wrote this because I am annoyed with all the bandwagon fans!!! I mean I go to at least 10 games a season, I live 3 hours away or I'd go a lot more often, and before the Rangers made it to the playoffs they games had a good amount of people, but now it's a whole different story. It's like now if you want tickets to a game, you better buy em months in advanced or you won't be goin, or you'll be stuck in the nosebleed seats. Oh and don't get me started on all the gear. It's all outta stock or the prices were jacked way up! And then these "fans" wanna try and tell us real fans that we are the bandwagon fans? Uh no sir! Where were you when they were the worst team in the AL West?? Do you even know what the AL West is?? Probably not, so don't speak. I mean I am super happy the Rangers are now considered one of the best teams in baseball, but all these "fans" that came along with it....Not so happy bout that. Yes cheer for my team, but do not try to act like you know it all and that you've been a fan all along. No lie, this one guy I went to school with has always talked about how big of a Red Sox fan he is, but once the Rangers made it to the playoffs he jumped onto the Rangers bandwagon and forgot all about the Red Sox. He got rid of all his Red Sox gear and bought all Rangers stuff, AND THEN tried to tell me I was the bandwagon fan. Go away. I don't speak to him anymore. So this is to all you bandwagon fans out there, not just for the Rangers but for any team out there. Thanks for supporting our team, but know your place.
